Elderly Services Programme Plan
After the three stages of discussion and public engagement, the “Working Group on Elderly Services Programme Plan” formulated the ESPP, which was endorsed by the Elderly Commission on 23 June 2017. The ESPP was submitted to the Government afterwards. Talent-Wise Employment Charter
The Labour and Welfare Bureau (LWB), in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, has implemented the “Talent-Wise Employment Charter” (the Charter) since 2013 to mobilise the Government, business sector, public bodies, subvented and non-governmental organisations to further promote the employment of persons with disabilities through participation in the Charter. On the basis of the Charter, LWB has launched the “Diverse Abilities.Inclusive Workplace Recognition Scheme” and introduced a tiered system of "Caring Employer" medal to commend different groups of employers who actively engage and support persons with disabilities.
