Award Presentation Ceremony of 2013-14 Talent-Wise Employment Charter and Inclusive Organisations Recognition Scheme

The Organisers and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) jointly held an award presentation ceremony of the 2013-14 Scheme cum television variety show on September 6, 2014 (Saturday) to let participating organisations and employees share their experience in promoting employment of persons with disabilities as well as to give due recognition to their efforts and achievement.


At the ceremony, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, presented the Inclusive Organisation Logo to representatives of organisations participating in the Scheme to underline the community's concerted efforts to promote the Scheme. Mr. Cheung together with other officiating guests also presented awards of recognition to Partnering Inclusive Organisation, Outstanding Inclusive Organisation and Supreme Inclusive Organisation to commend these employer organisations for promoting the employment of persons with disabilities in various aspects.


Following the award presentation ceremony, the officiating guests joined the opening ceremony of a television variety show in which local and international artists with disabilities performed with renowned artists, singers, musicians and dancers. Video clips on real employment cases of persons with disabilities were also broadcast to share the experience of participating organisations and employees in enhancing the employment opportunities of persons with disabilities, and to urge the community to recognise the working capacity of persons with disabilities.
